Every tier runs the same measurement. A fixed question set, held constant, run on six engines at least five times each. A person reads every finding before it reaches you. What we won't claim from those numbers is on how we measure.
Foundation reruns every quarter. Compound and Category rerun monthly, which is why the question counts and the prices move together.
SEO alone is quoted at the Foundation price. We can't run it cheaply against a baseline we haven't measured.
Only want to watch it?
Some teams aren't ready to change what engines say, just to track it. That's a different product, priced on its own.
Answer Monitor
- Fifteen questions built with you and kept the same every week
- Every question asked five times on six engines every week
- A quarter of weekly runs before we state a rate
- Every answer checked against a fact sheet you sign
Narrower than the Diagnostic. Fifteen questions rather than sixty, no roadmap. Wrong answers traced to the page that caused them, that's the Diagnostic.
Weekly and monthly readings are bands, not percentages. Five runs can't support a published rate: the honest interval around a two in five result runs from 12% to 77%. The quarterly rerun accumulates enough runs for a real number.
Growing past a tier
Four things can grow: markets, tracked questions, briefs and outreach targets. Each is quoted against your tier and agreed in writing before work starts.
Two ways the price moves
Applied in order, each to what's left after the last.
−10%
−$7,500
The audit credit sits outside the rate discount: it is a credit against an invoice, not a reduction in price. What applies is written into your agreement before you sign.
Where our scope ends
We don't do these at any price, so budget them elsewhere.
Paid media
We don't run ads or take a percentage of your spend. Nothing we recommend should depend on us also getting paid to buy the traffic.
Development work
We specify the fix and verify it live. Your engineers or your agency ship it. We don't bill for sitting in their sprint.
Community and KOL
We don't run KOL or community campaigns. Anyone selling a paid thread as a citation strategy is selling you a number that won't survive a rerun.
Token launch marketing
A launch campaign and an answer engine program run on different clocks. We run the second one.
Writing your content
We deliver strategy, architecture, templates and detailed briefs. Your team or your writers execute them, which keeps your voice and your compliance review inside your business, where they legally belong.
Who you'll work with
Ben Tabas
Every engagement is run by Ben Tabas, who owned the organic search channel at a top 5 global crypto exchange. There's no account manager between you and the work, and no junior quietly running your scans.
At these prices the machine time is cheap. You're paying for the hours spent reading what the engines said, deciding which findings are real, and tracing them to the page that caused them.
Pricing FAQ
Can we buy the AI answer half on its own?
Not as a program, because it would not work. What moves whether an engine names you is the same authority and content work that moves search, so a tier with the search half removed sells you the measurement and not the mechanism. If what you want is to watch what the engines say about you rather than to change it, that is monitoring, and it is priced as monitoring: $1,500 a month, month to month.
What does the audit credit do?
The Diagnostic is $7,500. Sign a retainer within 60 days and that fee is credited against your invoices, starting with month one. If the credit is larger than month one, the remainder carries into month two rather than expiring. It is a credit against invoices rather than a payment back to you, so it can take a month to zero but it will never be refunded in cash. It applies to retainers only, not to Answer Monitor: the credit exists to take the risk out of stepping up to a retainer, and a month to month product with no minimum has no risk to take out.
Can we pause a retainer?
No. The first term is committed, and after it you are month to month at Foundation. The work is cumulative: pages, sources and citations earned in one month are what the next month builds on, and a paused month does not stop the decay, it just stops the building.
What is the minimum commitment?
Ninety days at Foundation, six months at Compound, twelve at Category. The minimums rise with the tier because the bigger programs spend their first months on work that only pays back later: more markets, a wider question set, and third party sources that move at the pace of other people’s editorial calendars.
What am I paying for at these prices?
Mostly senior time and human review. The engine calls behind a month of tracking cost a few hundred dollars. Every finding is then read by a person before it reaches you, because the automated pass produces false positives and in our own testing at least one finding in eleven did not survive that reading. Software gets you a triage queue. A person gets you a finding list, and that review is most of the invoice.
Why publish prices at all?
Because a category where every competitor hides behind "book a call" is a category where buyers assume the number is bad. You should be able to work out whether this is affordable before you speak to anyone, and if it is not, we would both rather know now.
